On Friday, 19 November, we finally had the opportunity to award and applaud Exxaro’s top achievers of the past two years at a spectacular Oscar-themed gala event. Hosted by our CEO Designate and MD Minerals Dr Nombasa, who highlighted the reasons for the awards: “Today we celebrate individuals for a job well done, for going the extra mile and for going above and beyond the call of duty. We celebrate individuals for being innovative and brave, for saving us time by doing the right things and for giving your all to this organisation. Your collective contribution towards Exxaro’s great name and happy shareholders, and our sterling operational and financial results, makes me proud”.
