Integrated Reporting Awards

Integrated Reporting

Awards

We are proud to share that Exxaro has been named the winner in the Top 40 category at the prestigious Integrated Reporting Awards. This achievement underscores our collective commitment to excellence in corporate governance, financial transparency, and stakeholder communication.

About the Integrated Reporting Awards

The Integrated Reporting Awards, hosted by the Chartered Governance Institute of Southern Africa (CGISA) in partnership with the JSE Limited, have been recognising outstanding corporate reporting since 1956. As pioneers in promoting good governance practices, these awards set an important benchmark for transparency and risk management in corporate reporting.

Participation in the awards is voluntary, and we proudly submitted our integrated report for evaluation. Each submission undergoes a rigorous review by a panel of expert judges, ensuring that the most transparent and well-structured reports receive recognition. This process drives accuracy and full disclosure of information that matters most to stakeholders.

As a longstanding member of the Integrated Reporting Committee of South Africa (IRC), CGISA continues to champion initiatives that elevate the quality of integrated reporting in our country.

Our Commitment to Excellence

Our integrated report is a cornerstone of our commitment to sustainability, helping all of us—our stakeholders and team members—understand Exxaro’s strategies, objectives, and risks. This tool promotes corporate sustainability and fosters an inclusive environment for stakeholders.

Winning the Top 40 category is a testament to our dedication to producing reports that meet the highest standards of governance, transparency, and accountability. This recognition motivates us to continue striving for excellence and reinforces the importance of clear and impactful reporting in shaping Exxaro’s future.

“At Exxaro, we believe that transparent reporting is key not only for regulatory compliance but also for building trust with our stakeholders. This achievement inspires us to keep setting new standards of excellence in integrated reporting.” Malusi Buthelezi, Group Manager, Governance and Reporting
