Exxaro’s Matla Mine, in partnership with the Emalahleni Local Municipality’s Office of the Speaker, donated 100 school uniform packs to learners at Kwanala Primary School on 7 February 2025.

Each pack included a jersey, trousers, socks, a shirt, and school shoes, ensuring that learners have the essentials they need to attend school with confidence.

The initiative was warmly welcomed by the local community and municipal representatives. Bhekumusa Mahlalela, Public Participation Coordinator for the Emalahleni Local Municipality expressed his appreciation for Exxaro’s ongoing support: “It’s always great when corporates invest in our communities. These efforts improve the lives of our children and strengthen our communities.”
