The launch of the Ibandla Men’s Forum (IMF) on Friday, 21 February, marked a pivotal step in promoting men’s well-being. This transformative initiative unites men from various Business Units to highlight the importance of ‘Changing and embracing the face of men’s health.’

The IMF serves as a dynamic platform dedicated to supporting both personal and professional growth for men at Exxaro. It addresses the unique challenges men face in the workplace, at home, and within their broader communities, ensuring they have the support needed to thrive in all aspects of life.

With a strong focus on raising awareness around men’s mental, emotional, physical, and financial well-being, the IMF creates a safe and open space for men to engage in meaningful discussions. It encourages active participation on key societal and business matters, empowering members to contribute to positive change across the organisation.

The forum works in close collaboration with the Women In Mining committee, reinforcing a culture of mentorship, inclusion, and teamwork. Through this partnership, the IMF is committed to building an environment where everyone feels valued, supported, and encouraged to grow.
