CENTRE FOR DISABLED CHILDREN
Exxaro loves to celebrate our people who constantly strive to make a difference. When Leeuwpan Mine donated Jojo Tanks to the Siyanqoba Centre for Disabled Children, Victor Moeletsi, a PIT at the Leeuwpan Mine Projects Department, took it upon himself to help install the tanks. As a first-time project manager, Victor seamlessly coordinated with contractors to ensure the project’s success – delivering it safely, on time, and within budget. We all know that potholes can pose significant safety risks, particularly in high-traffic areas. That’s why, in a remarkable show of community spirit, the team from Grootegeluk took fast action to address a dangerous situation at the intersection of the mine and the road leading to Marapong in Lephalale.
Driven by their commitment to safety and community wellbeing, the team went on a mission to fix and pave the pothole-ridden intersection. Their efforts not only addressed an immediate safety concern but also showcased Grootegeluk’s dedication to creating a secure environment, where safer roads mean safer journeys for everyone who uses the road. Together, we can continue to power better lives, ensuring that our communities thrive and flourish in safety.
