 EXXARO’S PITS LEVEL UP AT
 30TH AFRICAN MINING INDABA

When the 30th Investing in African Mining Indaba landed in Cape Town, Exxaro’s Professionals in Training (PIT) stepped up to host Exxaro’s stand, conduct interviews with Exxaro’s executives and attend key discussions under this year’s theme: ‘Embracing the power of positive disruption: A bold new future for African mining’.

The conference, held at the Cape Town International Conference Centre (CTICC) from 5 to 8 February 2024, brought together industry leaders to address pressing challenges and explore transformative opportunities. Topics ranged from infrastructure development accountability in Africa to the evolving role of coal in achieving energy security. Dr Nombasa contributed to two discussions, while Tebogo Leepile, Group Manager: Social Impact, addressed the role of communities in the net-zero mining conversation.
