PROUDLY BACKS TOP 10 MATRIC ACHIEVER
Grootegeluk is proud to be sponsoring Mpipi Cynthia Mabotja, a shining star from Lephalale’s Ga Seleka village, with a bursary to study Actuarial Science at the University of Witwatersrand (WITS). Not only did Mpipi achieve seven distinctions and 100% in Geography for her matric finals, but she was also named in the Top Ten Learners in the 2023 Provincial National Senior Certificate.
Exxaro sees South Africa’s youth as the catalyst for a brighter future. Sponsoring this exceptional student reflects our ongoing commitment to nurturing talent and enabling individuals to reach their highest potential. The bursary will cover her tuition, accommodation, meals and books.

Belfast Mine’s partner, Mineral Processing Guru (MPG), is helping empower the local community in Dullstroom.
Belfast Mine and MPG have consistently demonstrated their dedication to initiatives that benefit school pupils and address community needs, by actively engaging in community development projects.

MPG recently made a generous donation to Siyifunile Secondary School, including 39 pairs of school shoes and essential resources like a laptop, iPhone, and a bursary for the top-performing student. MPG has also adopted Siyifunile Secondary School and pledged to address some of the challenges its learners face.
