On 21 September 2024, Exxaro hosted its second annual road race at Supersport Park, Centurion, under the theme

Despite the chilly weather, runners turned out in great numbers to enjoy the event, which featured 5km, 10km, and 21km races, plus a 1-mile championship. Adding excitement to the day, South African runner Caster Semenya joined the 10km race.

Our focus on employee well-being is central to Exxaro’s health and wellness strategy, and this race brought our team and community together.  Thank you to everyone who participated and made it a memorable day. Your involvement supported physical fitness, mental well-being, and strengthened our connected culture.
